Garrett Dykes Medical Expenses Fund
Friday Feb 19, 2021 Garrett was in an accident coming home from his 17th birthday dinner celebration. Garrett has been in the NTICU (Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit) since Friday 19th night.
Garrett has undergone a pelvic surgery and will be needing additional surgeries in the near future. Garrett has had some victories throughout his hospital stay and is staying in good spirits. He will be less mobile than he would like, in a wheelchair for a period of time. We will continue to provide updates as Garrett progresses and heals.
Some of the additional expenses:
-Round-the-clock care
-Modifications to home to accommodate wheelchair access
-Travel expenses: surgery in Kansas City anticipated in the coming month
-Physical Therapy
