Rebuilding Hope: Gaza Dentist’s Family Seeks Your Support

My name is Jehad Radwan. Today, I reach out to you with a heart heavy and burdened. My four children and I with my husband find ourselves in a perilous predicament—a desperate struggle for survival.

In the midst of the relentless conflict in Gaza, I—a once-dedicated and passionate dentist—have witnessed the devastation wrought by war. Our thriving dental clinic, where I poured my soul, now lies in ruins, alongside the remnants of our family home.

With each loss—the clinic so my work too, our lovely home, my husband’s work—my children and we have endured unimaginable hardships. We were displaced from our familiar abode, seeking refuge within the clinic’s walls. But fate was unkind; bombings uprooted us once more. Our journey became a desperate shuffle from one temporary shelter to another, our lives suspended in perpetual fear and uncertainty.

The toll of the conflict on my children and us runs deep. We’ve fled for our lives, time and again, as relentless bombs shattered our shelters. These once-vibrant children now bear the scars of trauma, their innocence forever fractured by the horrors of conflict.

Now, more than ever, my family clings to hope. Our sole lifeline lies in escaping Gaza, seeking refuge in a safer haven. Yet the cost of evacuation looms large—a burden we cannot bear alone. Your contributions, no matter how modest, can weave a lifeline for us.

The donations will be allocated to finding a new home and restoring my dental clinic so I can return to my profession. A detailed budget will be maintained, and expenditures will be documented to ensure transparency.

Alongside the needs for basic necessities and rebuilding a home and clinic, there is an urgent requirement for relocation funds. A fee of $5,000 USD per adult and $2,500 USD per child for safe passage from the Gaza Strip to Egypt. This adds a significant amount to our fundraising goal, which will ensure we and our children can move to a place of safety and stability.
