Help George see the green light
George Scott is a loving husband to Jolene Scott and a father of 4 girls, Dana, Tiffany, Ashley and Stephanie. He was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in December 2015. He went in for surgery in March 2016 for a complete prostatetcomy. Everything went good, so far his PSA counts are at zero, which is where we want them.
In May of 2016 he started to lose vision in his left eye, he went back into the doctors and had more tests to find that he has Chorodal melanoma, a cancerous tumor behind his eye. In July he had clips placed behind the eye, once that was healed up he then started Proton Radiation for one week. He is now starting to lose more of his vision in that eye because the tumor is connected to his retina. Since the vision will not come back, the doctors have said he will lose all vision in his left eye within 5 years but it has already started to decrease.
He will have to continue to go through tests and scans throughout the years to make sure the cancer does not spread or come back.
