Please help Flo reach the European Championships

Anyone who has been on a Fell Pony Adventure with me and my Dad will know we have been working towards competing at the European Championships For Youth Driving in Flyinge, Sweden 2024. In order to get there I need to raise £5,500 to get me to the necessary training days and competitions over the next year.

Earlier this year we managed to raise £1,100 through generous donations from Cumbria Young Peoeple's Fund, Staveley United Charities Fund and Cartmel Old Grammar School Foundation which got me to the British Carriage Driving Junior Championships 2023 where I came 4th in the marathon and 6th overall.

The Chef-D'Equipe for British Carriage Driving Juniors has asked me to put myself forward for selection to the European Championships For Youth Driving 2024, however as carriage driving isn’t an Olympic sport, Lottery funds don’t apply. So in order to get there I need to raise money to participate in events and training days throughout the UK, and I need your help!

So we are asking you, our family, friends and Fell Pony Adventures supporters to help me reach the European Championships next year.

About me

I have been riding since I was able to sit on a horse and I have been driving ponies since the age of 4. In 2022 I made it to the British Carriage Driving Junior Championships for the first time (having only taken up the sport a year earlier) with my home-bred Registered Fell pony Hades Hill Perry.

What we need

Over the next year, I need to get to 10 events and training days throughout the UK.

This can be broken down into the following costs...

Entry fees and training £1,500

Travel expenses for horse and carriage £2,000

Equipment £2,000

TOTAL £5,500
