Maccabiah 2013 Photographer
My name is Lev Gross-Comstock and I would like to share with you an opportunity that has been presented to me, which I am extremely excited about. I have been offered a place at the 19th Annual Maccabiah (the Israeli Olympics) as a staff photographer. I will be working alongside great photographers from all over the world and it will be my first trip to Israel. Needless to say, this is a great honor and privilege for me as well as a unique opportunity to represent the Knoxville community at a highly visible Israeli public event. It is my hope to bring back a bit of the Maccabiah and Israel to our community by holding a gallery showing of my work. Profits from the showing will benefit the youth in Knoxville's Jewish community.
Those that donate over $100 will receive a print and those that
don ate over $300 will receive a framed, signed, print from the gallery. These
pieces will be chosen before any are sold to the public. Money collected
will go to Maccabi USA for my Yachad commitment, my living expenses during the
4-5 weeks I will be in Israel, and for my printing and framing expenses for the
gallery upon my return.
