Get Shannon To Europe

My name is Shannon and I'm raising funds to be a part of the Iowa Ambassadors of Music 2016 European Tour. I was so excited to find out I was chosen to be a part of Iowa Ambassadors of Music as one of the Ambassadors representing Davenport, Iowa! The ensemble, comprised of Iowa high school band and choir students, will prepare in the U.S. then tour seven countries in Europe during Summer 2016. We will perform in churches, town squares, and we even have the honor of doing a tribute at the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site in Germany.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. I'm a good kid who has volunteered with my mom, with Girl Scouts and on my own in my community since I was 8 (I'm 15 now). I work really hard and earned a 4.0 GPA this year. I also do work study to help my mom pay for my schooling. My mom and I have had a tough go of things over the years but we always worked really hard and with family support we got through it. When this opportunity came up we both realized that it was going to take more than the family and hard work. My mom says this one is going to take the whole village.

So village, I'm asking that you help, in any way  you can. Get me to Europe so that I can represent our great country and the state of Iowa by bringing different cultures together through the universal language of music.

My goal is $6000.00. It is comprised of the following smaller goals that are the payment structure for the trip.
$300.00 payment due by 10/01/2015
