Gi Berika's Bright Future

Hello to all my friends, 
     I want to introduce you to Gichairo Berika.  Our home seemed a tad quiet with Kayla and James away at college, so we brought Gi over from the Netherlands this past December to fulfill his dream of getting an excellent education and playing basketball for a D1 university.  He is settling into David's sophomore class at Bishop Mora Salesian High School and adjusting effortlessly to his new life in LA.  We definitely feel like we hit the jackpot!  Not only is he doing very well in school and basketball, but he is funny, easy going, and fits right in.  He is also 6'8" and still hoping to grow! Our plan is for him to stay with us until graduation in 2020 then send him off to college.  
     Unfortunately, the current donor of Gi's tuition is not able to continue supporting him as planned and there is no way I am sending him back home!  I wish I could take care of all his expenses, but my budget only covers his lodging so I am appealing to your big hearts.  Anything you can donate towards his 11th and 12th grade education expenses would go a long way to help Gi achieve his dreams and to make the world (and my world) a better place!

**unfortunately, tuition donations for international students cannot be accepted directly by Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
