Ginger Hope the Service Dog

Meet Ginger Hope! Ginger is a mini Golden-doodle bred by the Golden Healer Service Dogs Organization.My name is Mckenna Carroll and I am Ginger’s trainer and owner.Ginger is being trained to help me with my Ptsd, Depression, and Anxiety. These were all affected drastically the past few years after witnessing a really traumatic motorcycle accident and then getting in a car accident resulting in multiple new medical problems. Since the accidents, my life has been flipped upside down changing how i live my life and what i do in my free time now. After all of the different mental and physical therapies and procedures I have gone through in the past few years, Ginger (Hope) is my hope of feeling a bit better mentally and having a brighter future with her by my side as i progress physically and mentally with a little bit of her help! Ginger will be trained to complete certain tasks to help me throughout the day whether it’s interrupting my repetitive behaviors like scratching when having a panic attack, reminding me to breath when driving, licking my face to stop crying, getting me out of bed, etc. I am about to be 18, paying for all of her expenses and have to raise $10,000 in a year to pay for her task training, all her food, and other things within the next year.
