Help give Colin Ricks the funeral he deserves
Donation protected
As you may know, Colin Ricks passed away on Tuesday 6 June after a long battle against debilitating illness.
Despite his health issues Colin played his full part as an activist for the Labour Party, Scouting and he supported other community organisations such as CAMRA's Thurrock Beer and Cider Festival.
Colin’s family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to organisations and individuals who knew Colin for help.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of Colin’s funeral expenses and to properly honour his life and commitment to the Thurrock Community and public service.
You can contribute here.
We hope you will consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help.
Our immediate target is to raise £1,300 pretty much immediately, this will enable the funeral directors to start making the necessary arrangements. Our objective is £5,000 to cover the full cost for his family.
We have a provisional date of 3rd July for Colin's funeral.
It would mean so much if you could share these details with others who knew Colin
Thank you so much for your consideration.
