Give Alireza another chance to live and dream!

Hello, my name is Dr Masa Safari, I work and live in Brisbane Australia! I am helping a 13 years old boy cousin, Alireza that lives in Kabul Afghanistan, to fight a rare type of blood related cancer, called Hodgkin Lymphoma. Before the Taliban closed the schools in Afghanistan, Alireza studied up to grade 7. He wants to be a Pilate and so he always maintained the highest marks in his class. His other hobbies are to sing and play soccer. Although, closing schools was a hindrance, he didn't give up and started to learn English at home because he wanted to communicate with the rest of the world.

His dreams were shattered by a nightmare and his family devastated, when the local Doctors said the lumps behind his left ear are caused by a rare type of cancer that can't be treated in Afghanistan. He is still in early stages and this cancer is treatable. Alireza and his family lives in a very poor and resource limited community in Kabul and does not have any access to medical treatments. He is Suffering Silently but his parents are helpless and hopeless.

I am trying to bring him and his father to Australia on medical treatment visa and fund their travel myself. But being just a junior Doctor I have limited resources and income and need Your Help to cover his medical costs in Australia. Anything goes a long way.

All initial limited medical diagnosis and investigations are available for anyone upon request and I can also provide the family's contact information if anyone wants to be directly involved.

The fund will be used in Australia at one of the children's hospitals that able to treat this types of cancer to cover his medical treatment. Once they are in Australia for medical treatment, I will open a bank account and this fund will stay in that account to be used for his treatment ONLY.
