Giving Back to Emma

15 years ago, our very dear friend Emma Cannon was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having fought her battle, Emma spent 10 happy years in remission, raising her family and building the practise that has supported thousand of patients through their journeys of fertility and well-being.
Sadly in May 2017, the cancer returned and Emma has undergone further chemotherapy and more recently radiotherapy to try and control the spread. She has managed this with astonishing strength, belief, style, grace and humour which initially had enabled her to continue her path and incredible vocation of fertility and, more recently, as she describes herself, one of "High Priestess." However, over the past three months the cancer has developed aggressively throughout her body, resulting in the partial loss of sight in one eye.
As we know, due to Covid, many patients, including a large number of Cancer patients, have suffered, unable to continue treatments or receive the level and type of care that they require. As a result, the ground breaking NHS trial Emma was on was postponed, treatment delayed, with significant implications on her health and resulting in the closure of Emma's clinic after 25 years of providing treatment, knowledge and solace to thousands of patients globally.
As anyone who knows Emma would expect, she has received an incredible amount of love and support from dear friends, patients, colleagues and her wider community, but her cancer has continued to take a hold during a very difficult year.
So that we can enable Emma to access additional holistic and complementary therapies to help her tolerate the aggressive on-going medical treatments and the possibility to regain strength in her eye at a specialised clinic, I have set up a Crowd Funding page.
I know it's a tough time for many people so your donation would be gratefully received, knowing the significant difference this can make to both Emma and her family. I would also ask you to share the link on whatever platforms you feel most appropriate, knowing that Emma has a very wide remit of fairies and wizards out there....Time to sprinkle our magic, support Emma and her family during this heart-breaking time and thank her for the amazing love and wisdom she has given such a wide community over the years.
