The Publishing of Glenn's Novel by Fulton Books

Welp,

Enough people said "You should write a book" and so I finally did. Since then I've gone down the rabbit hole of publishing. I had a great indie publisher on board for a moment, then he ghosted me. (haha)

There are innumerable ways to self-publish, but much like the making of records, I want to work with someone who I know and trust to take things OUT of my hands and help them become the best they can be free from my meddling.

I've had some extensive dialogues with Fulton Books and eventually submitted my manuscript to them for review. Their editorial team approved the book, so I'm into the next phase. Working with Fulton would grant me the following:

'...In summary, Fulton has agreed to be your publisher. We will handle the production of your book, i.e., edits, page design, formatting, cover design, ISBN numbers, e-Pub files, etc., to prepare your book for hard-copy and eBook sales.

We will also handle the order fulfillment and distribution through Ingram Content Group via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple iTunes, and Google Play, hard-copy, and e-book, respectfully. The agreement also states that we will handle the press release campaign as well as an e-commerce website for the book.'

I've given this a lot of thought. Having professionals behind the wheel is the path I'd like to proceed down.

So...*sigh* here is a guy who lives hand to mouth trying to climb another mountain.

Those who have read the book so far in its current state have all said it's hilarious and that they want more. As a result, I feel like I could accomplish my goal, which is to make a bunch of people laugh and forget their troubles for a while.

I'm asking you to help me make this a reality. Which is very awkward really, at least for a guy like me. However, a wise friend once told me "if you don't ask, the answer is always no."
