HELP Madison Fight Brain Cancer

Donation protected

URGENT: On behalf of the Jeff Domin Realty group at Coldwell Banker SCA, we are asking if you could help us save 3yr old Madison's life and support our team-mate Debbie Williams and her husband while they undergo this painful journey of doing whatever they can to keep their little girl in this world. It has just been announced that Madison is battling a rare, life-threatening brain cancer, called a High Grade Neuroepithelial Tumor.

It all started in February, when Madison was in and out of the doctors office because she was not feeling well, had a loss of appetite, and sleeping so much that it just did not seem right. Like many of us this winter, we had our children to the doctor for sicknesses that have been going around; but for little Madison, it turned out it wasn't what she was dealing with.

On Thursday, March 1st, Debbie and John Williams were informed that Madison needed a CT scan. This CT scan revealed what no parent wanted to hear. . . . that their little girl had a brain tumor.  Upon the news, they were immediately transferred to the Childrens Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.  Debbie and John were told that Madison needed to undergo brain surgery to remove this tumor and gather tissue. Tissue results would reveal if the tumor was cancerous or not.

On Saturday, March 3rd, Madison spent the majority of the day in surgery. Her parents Debbie and John anxiously awaited for their little girl to awake. It was a joyous moment when the surgeon notified them that the tumor looked to be completely removed and Madison did an amazing job. Unfortunately an MRI later that night revealed that there may be remnants of the tumor still there that they could not see....

While in recovery, Madison had her appetite back and she only wanted to eat pink donuts. She was quickly nicknamed by hospital staff as the donut girl! Two days later Madison was on her way home, snacking on salami and pink donuts, and excelling at recovery from brain surgery. Within those couple of weeks after, she was back to her old self enjoying time with her brother Andrew, grandparents, family and many fun play-dates with friends.

On March 20th, the results came back and revealed disheartening news. That Madison has a rare cancer called a High Grade Neuroepithelial Tumor and her surgeons are diligently reaching out all over the country to find clinical trials and the best treatment plan to battle this. While waiting, she starts daily aggressive chemotherapy on March 26th.

Debbie and John are determined to do whatever it takes to save Madison's life and be with her to help her get through these aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Travel will be abundant and expensive. Medical bills are already starting to come in at astronomical amounts.

We have started this fundraising campaign to help the Williams family cover the traveling and medical expenses of Madisons treatments.

Let's help sweet Madison get through this!!! A donation of any kind would be amazing, along with your prayers and words of encouragement. Together we can take some of the burden off their shoulders.

Please share and tag with #TeamMadison.

We will be updating regularly on her progress and a HUGE THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts and God Bless. Your support means the world.
