Miranda Goes to Covid Longhauler Trial!
Most of you know or are aware of my ongoing Covid battle. I unknowingly had Covid in March 2020 and then again (or a flare up) in June. I have continued to have degenerative disorders, ongoing diagnoses, and more pain and suffering without end. Most recently, that includes hypothyroidism, Vitamin D deficiency, and am being studied for inflammatory arthritis. I was lucky to be selected February 7th to participate in the clinical trial for the Covid-19 treatment of Lironlimab in Atlanta or Miami. I will need to make it there for the trial, attend appointments twice weekly to receive medications and maintain a presence, as well as continued weekly visits for a minimum of 2 months. The trial begins at the end of February to early March! I move slowly so I will need to leavesoon!
I will attempt to continue teaching as I am able, as it is my pride and joy to inspire young minds.

I have a motor wheelchair now thanks to my grandmother Sue and grandmother Rose. With the help of hospitals, therapies, a water treadmill, and more; I have recovered the ability to walk short distances! This is miraculous! I use a walker and cane when able.
