The Gold-Diggers family could use your help! Please consider a contribution. 

First of all, we love you and miss your face! We collectively can’t wait to be in the same room with you again, trading air hugs for real ones. 

Secondly, and as you might imagine, the wonderful hourly staff at Gold-Diggers is facing a trying time for the foreseeable future. Mandatory closure of our venue-bar and the hotel upstairs impacts everyone from bartenders to bar-backs, security staff, maintenance, and hotel housekeeping. These hard working folks are our backbone, the hearts & faces of our shared East Hollywood “home away from home.” 

We are asking for your help to give them a boost of support as the team navigates the challenges ahead. As you likely know, gathering in groups of 10+ people is now prohibited through May 2020 while the state of California adheres to the "Safer at Home" order. We know that everyone else is trying to assimilate tremendous uncertainty in their own lives too, and that many are facing hard times; we understand that not everyone will be able to support our crew. Having said that, even a few dollars here or there will help some of our dear GD family stay on their feet.

100% of donations will go straight to the Gold-Diggers hourly staff, many of whom survive on tips. We anticipate they will also immediately apply for unemployment benefits, but those benefits will only cover a minor portion of essential living expenses. This team is responsible for making our new independent venue one of the greatest in the city of Los Angeles. If you've ever shared a story with them, felt made at home when you've walked through our doors, or shared a laugh, please consider making a small (or any!) contribution to those smiling faces.
