Grace Needs Help

This is my beautiful younger daughter Grace. She is 30 years old, married to Nick with two wonderful children. Millicent is 2, Killian is 8 months. Grace has terminal cancer. Here is her story. Grace's symptoms began during her second month of her second pregnancy. As time progressed and the baby grew in utero, Grace could not even walk most days because standing, sitting and walking was agony for her. She also started experiencing other severe symptoms, the most alarming was urinating blood. She went to many different doctors during this time and they all said the same thing. These are normal pregnancy symptoms. On September 24th, 2019 believing she was going into labor she was admitted to the hospital. She was not in labor and even though there were no kidney stones visible the doctors released her the next day with a diagnosis of kidney stones. Two days later, she went to her normal pregnancy doctor visit and informed them she was still urinating blood. The doctor told her once she had the baby her symptoms would all go away. That same day she was sent to the hospital and had an emergency c-section and Killian was born 3 weeks early. Eight days later her symptoms got worse and she was admitted back into the hospital, where it was discovered she had preeclampsia. Once that was under control , two days later they informed her she had stage 3 kidney cancer. At the same time her newborn son was admitted to the same hospital with a dangerous blood infection on top of digestive problems which led to surgery for him. Grace then went to Memorial Sloan Kettering for a second opinion, this is where she learned she had stage 4 Translocation Kidney Cancer. There is no cure. Her doctors gave her the prognosis of 3 years give or take. Yes that is how they put it . Her right kidney was removed the day before Thanksgiving. Five months later she had surgery again to remove the new growth plus 38 lymph nodes. As per her doctor she is no longer fit to work. She is now starting Chemotherapy to help slow the spread, but every time the cancer returns , she will have more surgery. Her bills are beginning to skyrocket and it seems there will be so end with her continuing treatments. Besides the mounting bills, they have gone from a healthy 2 paycheck family, down to a one paycheck family. I am asking for help to help ease the burden and anxiety they are both experiencing. This is special young beautiful family. Nick is the glue holding his family together. He works nights and then he does as much as he can for Grace and Millicent and Killian. Sleep for him is on the back burner for now, he never complains. He just wants to help Grace. Thank you in advance for any help that may come this way.
