Grace

This is Grace. She is My best friend. She is approximately 3 years 11 months and 16 days of age. I am Corey, and this is what happened. A few days ago we were chasing rabbits, keeping the ground hogs in check and smelling the breeze. After a long day of adventure we crawled in bed and went to sleep. The following morning We got up, and I took a shower. Came out, picked Grace up and placed her on the ground. She didn’t move. She was just sitting there…. I soon realized her back legs were basically paralyzed. I’m freaking out, it’s Saturday, July 15th. She needs a surgery that she COULDN’T GET WITHOUT A 6000$ DEPOSIT. She needed it yesterday but I did not have that money on hand. We will gather the money as quick as possible. But this needs this to be done with haste. The Doctors tell me nothing. I researched it on my own. IVDD is what Grace is presented with. Intervertebral disc disease. There are certain stages. 1-5. Grace went from (0)running up the stairs on the way to bed. To (3)the inability to walk, with some feeling response to her legs. OVERNIGHT. With zero warning. Even with the surgery there is still no certainty she will regain her ability to walk, but the odds are better with urgency and rest. Let’s all help Grace run again.
