Gracie's Study Abroad in South Africa

Hey friends!

My name is Gracie Smith and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati studying communications and marketing. While working two jobs, I also volunteer for Cincinnati Arts and am involved in Young Life and my two churches. 

I am very delighted to say that I have been accepted to participate in the LeadAbroad Capetown program this upcoming summer. During my time spent in South Africa, I will be taking two classes, gaining leadership skills that will help my future, experiencing certain adventures that I would not be able to get anywhere else in the world, and giving back to the sweet community of cape town by holding after school programs for the local elementary schools. I couldn't be any more excited and thankful that God has given me this awesome opportunity! 

With all of the excitement, there also comes some nervous feelings in traveling and raising the expenses. I am asking the help of friends and family to help make this opportunity of participating in the LeadAbroad Capetown program a reality. The overall cost of this program is approximately $11,000. This will cover all of my travels and program costs for the 5-6 weeks that I will be there. I would like to ask everyone for prayers on this journey and also if you feel called to give, any type of donation would be very appreciated.
