Greg Ludwig Family Khun Gee

Hello!

Our names are Kevin Farkas and Ron Pascoe (Khun Pee in Thailand). We were lifelong friends of Gregory Ludwig (Khun Gee). Greg was tragically killed in a vehicular accident on January 11th, 2024 in Phuket, Thailand where he had been living for about the past 18 years.

As some of you may know, Greg and his Thai partner Paniti Kongboon (nicknamed "Nit"), had a child (Teya Chiratchaya Kongboon Ludwig) together in 2013, and were also living with Nit's daughter Perry.

In wake of this terrible loss, we are raising funds to help support Greg's Thai family. The money will immediately go towards the family's basic needs like rent, Teya's school tuition, food, utilities and household items. And perhaps a trust fund or investment fund giving the family a monthly allowance, and eventually flying Teya to the United States so that she is able to collect Greg's U.S. Social Security, until the age of 18 (she would need to apply in-person). Greg having worked outside the US for most of his adult life, the Social Security benefit is very minimal. Being that Greg was the sole provider, it will be difficult for the family to adjust to this drastic change for a while.

We know that everyone who ran across Greg in their life can easily say that he was the kindest, most caring, energetic and fun person. We also know that donations are a lot to ask for, but needed in this tough time.
