HAUS Salon partnering with ARC
Tax deductible
We at HAUS Salon are honored to be partnering with The American Refugee Committee. Our efforts are focused in the Nu Po Refugee camp on the border of Thailand and Myanmar and training hairdressers living in the camp to spot signs of domestic violence and to provide victims of domestic violence the resources they need.
The HAUS Salon team is helping ARC add a layer of business development to the program by co-creating an educational workshop that will update the technical and business management skills of the hairdressers living and working in the Nu Po camp. We will travel to Thailand to deliver this educational opportunity and build the skills of these hairdressers who are leading their community fight domestic violence.
The money we are raising will be a donation to the American Refugee Committee. A team from HAUS Salon will join ARC in Thailand to facilitate the workshop we've created together. In addition, ARC will use the funds to help grow the program to build the skills of Nu Po's hairdressers as they step up to fight domestic violence.
At HAUS Salon we are passionate about our craft, the relationships we have with our clients and we strive to stay ahead of the curve in our industry by being continually committed to education. We are honored and grateful for the opportunity to share what we've learned and developed with our fellow hairdressers in Thailand. We are working with ARC in Thailand from April 22 to April 29, 2016.
