Donation protected
My name is Mary Ellen Bowman and my friend Mary Ellen Mcateer needs your help now.
She is 57 and single with no savings due to the facts explained below.
She has stage 3 Rectal cancer will need chemo and radiation to shrink the tumor which is
the size of a lemon and is very painful. Her doctors say she will be too weak to continue her
cleaning business while she is receiving chemo and radiation for next 3 months.
Her landlord is 70 and cannot afford to let her live for free. She is in desperate need of help
from anyone who is able to contribute.
After being a caregiver 24 hours a day for her dad who suffered from Parkinson for past 3.5 years .
She has taken of both her parents over the past 10 years.
I met her 12 years ago at church, we signed up for a retreat and were shocked to find out we share
the same name and sat across from each other every sunday . This was the beginning of our friendship.
We prayed for each others need, went to prayer meetings, retreats. We were pray friends.
Maryellen always prayed that she could have a reunion with her dad she had not seen him for 45 years.
Her prays were answered and she reconciled with her dad as adult, A year after the reunion his wife died
and she continued in her relationship with her dad. But soon he developed Parkinson. For 3 years she would travel from Penna. to Ventnor to take care of her dad (his caretaker took weekend off) Eventually he was unable to afford a caretaker. She wanted to bring to Pennsylvania but he pleaded to spend his final days in his home in Ventnor. She could not deny his pleas so she moved to his home to be his 24 hour 7 days a week
caregiver. Her father care was all day and she dressed him, fed him, bath him, changed him for 3 1/2 years until he passed this year.
She has no regret for giving up 10 years for her parents she says she would do it all again. But
now who will assist her. Will you?
She will be eternally grateful if she is able to remain in her apartment until she recovers.
She allowed both her parents to remain at home and now I ask you to help her remain at home.
Can you? will you?
She is a praying woman and I assure you if you help she will have you on her pray list forever.
