HOPE FOR HUNTER GAGE
Donation protected
Baby Hunter is currently waiting for a transplant. He is unable to do so until he he reaches at least 25 pounds, so until then he remains at the hospital in NICU.
Baby Hunter Gage was born on October 30th with Intestinal Malrotation, an intestinal obstruction causing twisting and blockage of the digestive tract that prevents the proper passage of food. Already he has been through 3 major surgeries and has many more to follow. Hunter's doctors were only able to save 12 centimeters of his intestines which has left Hunter facing a long road to recovery and a possible bowel transplant that will require travel outside of the state. Hunter's family is holding strong but they know that the medical bills are going to be very substantial. Along with the medical expenses, Hunter's father, Trevor Gage, has also had to take an unpaid leave of absence from work in order to stay at the hospital with his son and wife at the NICU at Cooks Children's Hospital. Hunter's mother Brandi Gage is a stay at home mom to the couples 2 daughters, Kaylie and Chasidy Gage. Trevor Gage and his brother Kevin Gage have served the White Settlement Fire Department for a combined total of 13 years. This family has dedicated their lives to saving others in need, and now they have found themselves in need of lots of prayers and donations to keep the family going while Baby Hunter Gage takes his long journey to recovery. Any donations would greatly be appreciated.
