Help Support My Summer Dance Education!!!

My name is Hailey Rose Walsh, I am 17 years old and currently finishing my senior year of high school. I am seeking your help and support for my summer dance training. As a graduating high school senior, this summer is truly the time where I can bridge the gap between my current status of ‘student’ and my journey to becoming a ‘professional’ – the most important summer for networking and refining my true self as a dancer-artist.

My goal is to attend the intensives of BalletX in Philadelphia, UNCSA in North Carolina, Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre in Atlanta, and Staibdance in Sorrento, Italy. Being able to use the summer to dance with new teachers, new groups of people, in unfamiliar studios, and different genres; are all extremely valuable building blocks in my dance education, and will help to further expand my foundation for personal and professional growth, both in and out of the dance world. 

My parents have supported my dance education since I was 2 ½ -- every class, competition, convention, recital, intensive. Everything I’ve done up to this point is thanks to my parents and their support, and now I am asking for yours. I would like to pay for my own training this year, or at least contribute as much as I can. Even after receiving merit scholarships, the total cost of my summer, including travel, is upwards of $9125. This is where you come in!

The hardest part for me is taking that first step, but I believe, with the support of my friends, family, and teachers, I have a pretty good stride going. Thank you for taking your time to look into my fundraiser, I would be so grateful if you considered supporting me this summer.
