Dollars for Dinner - HSTAT LINK Club and SGO
Tax deductible
LINK Club, in partnership with SGO, is responding to the food insecurity crisis in NYC caused by COVID-19. We are asking participants to chip in and support COPO’s efforts to help feed our community.
COPO, a full-service nonprofit based in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Midwood, aims to serve the immigrant community by providing a variety of services, including a large Halal Food Pantry. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, COPO has served over 175,000 New Yorkers and distributed over 16 million pounds of food to those in need. To learn more about COPO's pantry, check out the recent NYT The Daily podcast below:

Let's join together to support their mission and help our fellow New Yorkers in need!
About LINK: The LINK club works to improve our overall community through service, leadership, and philanthropy. Initially, LINK started as a movement called “Liberty in North Korea” aka LINK, to help North Korean refugees seeking political asylum. Since its inception, the LINK club has grown, creating volunteering partnerships with organizations including the American Cancer Society, AIDS WALK New York, the Trevor Project, CHIPS, Save the Children, and the St Nicholas Home. Our work has included volunteering at soup kitchens and collecting school supplies for refugees in Syria. Because of the vast work we do, we now refer to ourselves as LINK, for our commitment to linking people together for the common good. Attendance at LINK meetings and events equates to Community Service hours.
