Happily, Ever After the Musical

Happily, Ever After is a contemporary, original musical, following four friends as they negotiate the slippery slope of pursuing a dream and the cold realities that are thrown in their way, from love and sex to failure and friendship. Asking the question, is a dream ever as good as what’s right in front of you? Happily, Ever After is a romantic drama with music in its soul and hope in its heart. Our production is currently seeking funds to book a venue and rehearsal space, in order to bring this story to the stage in 2020. Written by Megs Matheson and Chris Watt as well as music by Rachel Taylor which has been arranged into musical format by Liam Bowie and Kenneth Lypka mixing indie rock to the drama, this production, with a talented cast of 5 young local actors, aims to add its story to the cultural landscape of the city of Aberdeen. But such stories take time and more importantly money. Which is where you come in. We are offering a series of incentive packages to investors. Every penny we make here will be going straight into production costs, in an effort to bring this contemporary and timely story to the stage this year and you all have a chance to be a part of something new, fresh, original and exciting. Because every story needs one INCENTIVES ——————- * £5 donations will receive a personal “Thank you” from the HEA cast and a shout out on our social media. * £10 donations will receive a downloadable MP3 of our titular song. * £20 donations will receive all of the above and a signed poster. * £30 donations will receive all of the above and a copy of the script signed by Chris Watt. * £40 will receive their name in the program as one of our “Theatre Angels” and will be given a BTS look at HEA’s process. * £50 will receive a full album of he Musical. * £60 will receive a full album and a signed t-shirt. * £100-200 will receive 2 tickets to opening night and a tour of the set and a meet and greet with the cast, as well as a personal performance of the titular song. * £500 will be named as a producer and investor of HEA. If this is a business they will have their logo attached to our poster and program.
