Harvey is only nine years old, but his heart and determination to make a difference are boundless. He’s already raised over £50,000 for different causes through challenges he takes on every year. Now, he’s taking on his biggest yet—a triathlon to support mental health awareness and raise vital funds for Peace & Mind UK.
Peace and Mind UK honour Brianna Ghey’s memory by advocating for mental health awareness, equality, and inclusion. They are committed to ensuring that every young person and their families have the support they need to thrive mentally and emotionally. Brianna’s legacy lives on in their mission to foster compassion, understanding, and peace in every community.
Harvey truly believes every child deserves access to mental health resources and mindfulness programs, which help kids manage emotions and build resilience.
This triathlon is no easy feat: Harvey will swim 1.2 miles, bike 56 miles, and walk 16 miles, all to finish at his favorite spot, Old Trafford, home of Manchester United! As a passionate United fan, Harvey is thrilled to be ending his journey there, and he’s inviting anyone to join him along the way—whether it’s a few miles or the entire route—to help spread awareness for mental health.
Harvey’s goal is to support Peace & Mind UK’s "Growing Happiness" initiative, providing vital mindfulness sessions in schools. Here’s the impact of your support:
- £150 funds one session, reaching 10-15 families.
- £2,700 covers 36 sessions for the year, supporting up to 45 families.
- For just £3037, we can offer weekly sessions for 45 families, and with two sessions a week, we could double this to support 90 families annually.
Together, let’s cheer on Harvey and help him bring more mental health support to schools and communities, one step—and one mile—at a time.
