Maker Gear M2 3d Printer

The Historic Haven is planning to purchase a Maker Gear M2, the top rated Enthusiast 3d printer on 3D Hubs.

This fundraiser will be purchasing:
-A new, assembled, Maker Gear M2
-A leveled stand for it, as well a a rack to keep assorted spools on
-A collection of spools for testing with (We will be keeping spools in stock to sell to members at price)
-A digital caliper
-Tools to clean the print head
-Extra print heads
-Fume Guard and Air Exhaust System
-Vapor Treating setup for ABS plastics to smooth out print jobs (high gloss finish)

We believe that this will pair very nicely with the 3d Laser Printer that will be arriving in August.

We think this will go a long way to completing our maker space, and will compliment some of the awesome tools such as the brass caster (print in 3d, and investment cast in sand to convert plastic into brass), the laser cutter (make gear for wood clocks), and other fun projects.
