AVID DISTANCE RUNNER/CYCLIST, FATHER AND FRIEND, SHANE CLINGER, WAS PARALYZED IN A CAR ACCIDENT. HE NEEDS FUNDS FOR SPECIAL PAIN-RELIEF THERAPY & PHYSICAL THERAPY EQUIPMENT THAT USA INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER...

Please HELP our friend, Shane Clinger, so that he can get stem-cell therapy to help relieve the extensive pain he is in and gain function to walk (USA Insurance does not cover) and post-injury, physical therapy and other equipment to assist him with daily life activities.

SHANE'S STORY:

He was a happy father of 4 children, a husband, and owned his own lawn-care business in Southern Utah. He was an avid marathon runner and cyclist that enjoyed traveling to and competing in distance running and cycling events. He worked hard to keep his body in peak physical condition and often finished first in the races he entered.

Everything changed in seconds when Shane and his family were in a fatal car accident in Utah. Everyone in the car was injured and Shane's beautiful 11-year-old daughter passed away at the scene of the accident. Shane and his three other daughters were life-flighted to the hospital. Thankfully, his three other daughters and his wife recovered physically from their injuries; however, Shane sustained an injury that would not so easily heal. He had shattered vertebrae in his spine and was paralyzed from the neck down. He then began a long, hard journey, both mentally and physically, to just get through life’s daily activities and to find relief from the excruciating pain he endures.

We have WITNESSED Shane's daily struggles. He has found that stem-cell therapy is the best overall treatment, so far, to relieve the pain and improve function. He has had several treatments and, miraculously, he now has partial use of his hands and arms, and his abdominal, back, and core muscles are starting to respond and strengthen. This has allowed him to take on a few lawn-care jobs using a ride mower. Shane is improving daily and now has partial feeling throughout his body down to his feet. His hope is that he will walk again…soon.

UNFORTUNATELY, Shane and his wife have separated and divorced, as is often the case when a couple endures the trauma of losing a child. BUT he remains active in his daughters' lives, his church, and stays busy with a little work and physical therapy—that he does almost entirely on his own.

OUR HUMBLE REQUEST:

Shane has now run out of FUNDS to pay for the stem-cell therapy that USA Insurance WILL NOT COVER. WE ARE ASKING EVERYONE TO PLEASE HELP OUR FRIEND SHANE CLINGER BY DONATING...so he can get the stem-cell therapy that has helped with his improved function, improved feeling, and decreased pain. He also looks forward to acquiring various medical equipment that will help assist him with daily activities.

Shane’s first priority is the stem-cell therapy and necessary medical equipment. If there are additional funds, we would love to see him get his own TINY HOUSE built that is wheelchair accessible, etc…That would be an AMAZING extra BLESSING.

We realize you may not know Shane personally, as we do, but we see him PERSEVERE DAILY both mentally and physically...just to live and do life.

He has helped us to see life differently and not take our bodies for granted; that EVERY DAY IS A BLESSING; and that GOD will take a bad situation and turn it for your good.

It is a difficult thing to ask others for financial support, so we humbly ask for your generosity with any contributions you can make. Your kindness will make a huge difference in being able to afford Shane's treatments and other related expenses. Shane's good friend TRAVIS ROBINSON has agreed to assist Shane in managing and dispersing funds as needed.

Stem-cell therapy gives Shane renewed hope and strength. We believe this path will significantly improve Shane's well-being and help him to manage his pain level, which will enhance his quality of life. We have seen much improvement in his function and feelings, and believe it is the stem-cell therapy that improves the nerve connections daily.
