Heather Wood’s fight against cancer

Hi friends and family,

 

As many of you know, my longtime friend Heather was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and went into remission in December. She finally was getting her life back and found a great job working full time.

 

In April her abdomen started filling up with fluid and after a few very expensive scans it was determined her cancer had returned. Her team of doctors told her everyone’s biggest fear, she is TERMINAL. This could mean 4 months or a couple years. Heather is having to take lots of time off work,but is determined to work as long as she can. She is undergoing chemo and anything she can to keep fighting to be there for her family.

 

I have created this to help offset her horrible medical expenses, time off work and to not have to deplete her savings so early on.

 

Anything helps and as most of you know Heather is not one to ask for help unless options are running out. She knows God will provide her strength and courage to fight and not give up, until He calls her home.
