Our best friend, Heather (Allen) Flasch, and her cousin, Courtney Allen, were injured in a campfire accident early Saturday morning. Both girls suffered multiple burns and are currently being treated.
Heather's burns cover 27% of her body and is expected to be in the hospital for 4 - 6 weeks.
Courtney's burns cover 18% of her body and is expected to be in the hospital for 3 weeks.
Heather was recently diagnosed with MS and has been adjusting to life after diagnosis. Her positive outlook and amazing family support system, including Courtney, has helped make the last couple years much easier.
After this weekend's incident, Heather, Courtney and the entire Allen/Flasch family are going to need as much support as we can give them.
Courtney and Heather are some of the strongest girls we know, but they have a long road to recovery ahead of them. They could use all the help that we can give. Money donations, prayers and positive thoughts are all greatly appreciated!
