The Henderson/Ruiz family has endured tremendous pain and anguish over the past 30 days only to learn that their precious Heavan has succumbed to an untimely and tragic end. Heavan was 22 years old and disappeared on December 17. Her family learned yesterday that they will never again hug or kiss their beautiful, bright, and vibrant young girl.
I have not requested permission from the family to raise money for the costs of final arrangements for Heavan, but I know that many of us do not have life insurance policies for our young adult children. The burden of having to make these kinds of decisions alone is beyond my comprehension. I would like for this family, who has endured more than any family should ever have to, to be able to pay for the necessary arrangements without worry of how it will affect the future.
If you have $1 to spare, or the the cost of a coffee at Starbucks ($5), I (not her family) beg of you to find it in your heart to give little where little will amount to much.
