In Memory of Helen Schurig ...

Helen fought long and hard in her battle with cancer. The cancer may have won the battle, but Helen will forever live on in our hearts and memories.  Many friends have asked about offering financial support during this difficult time. This page was created as a way to give friends and loved ones a means to help the Benson's meet the financial needs they now face and to help celebrate Helen's life in a meaningful way for Mitch and the boys. 

Although Helen will be missed by all, we can all hold onto our special memories of her.  As Dr. Seuss once said, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened". I think that's what Helen would want us to do during this difficult time.
