kidney transplant and physical therapy

Donation protected
I am seeking funding for a Kidney Transplant and physical therapy. My full story is below. Please prayerfully consider my request. Thank you!

Short Story
My name is Adan and I am in desperate need of a kidney transplant. The reason for the transplant is because I fought cancer and won thankfully. But due to the 8 months of chemotherapy 10 sessions of radiation and a total of 10 surgeries im now needing a kidney transplant. The chemo destroyed my kidneys also as well as needing to learn to walk again from the two spine surgeries to reconstruct my back. Im trying to raise money for the transplant and as well as physical therapy. Right now im barely surviving on my monthly disability check which doesn't cover much and also has been trying to cover the rest of my medical expenses as well, with just the little that I receive. If everyone that sees this can donate at least $5 to $10 dollars it would be a big help. I appreciate taking the time to view my story.  If you cant donate please share.

Thanks.

Long Story

On the night of April 22, 2014 I went into the ED after a month and a half of dealing with back pain that basically caused me to not be able to feel from the waist down.

After going to the hospital and so much testing and scanning it was in that very moment that I was told that I had a massive tumor in my stomach and also wrapped around my spine. My world came crashing down, I had thought it was over because of how big it was. Yes cancer is very dangerous to begin with but i didnt think i was even gonna make it at all or even have a chance due to the fact of how big and massive it was.

The next morning just sitting in my hospital bed a surgeon came rushing in and told everyone to not move or even touch me because my spine was literally on the verge of breaking in half! The surgery, because of how bad the tumor was and how it was all wrapped around my spine was split into two 8 hour surgeries, to fully reconstruct and stabilize my spine and at that same time they tested the tumor to determine weather it was malignant or benign. Well the worst happened because it was malignant and a very rare and hard cancer to kill that I was told, it's called "Germ Cell Cancer".

Once the surgery was over I was up and walking again. Until one day i felt something very wrong and i could feel my legs going numb again. Well because my surgeon wasn't there another dr had came in and sent me for some scans and said that everything was fine. Well comes to find out everything wasn't fine. The tumor had grown back around the spine again, so that evening I was rushed to radiation.

So now began the first out of 10 sessions of radiation. Then began the long journey of 8 months of very strong and hard chemotherapy as well as a few times that I was admitted to the ICU at Moffitt Cancer Center and also had to have little mini surgeries that had to be perform in the room due to complications of a hematoma that had ruptured and I started bleeding out in the room.

Then eventually down the line due to more complications I had to have 2 nephrostmy bags put in because the tumor was actually compressing on my ureters and not allow urine to drain out of my kidneys.

Finally on December 4 2014 I had finished chemotherapy, and so now comes the part of letting my body rest to get ready for the surgery that is to remove the tumor and basically it's 50/50 either I do it and most likely die or I dont do it and for sure for sure I will die.

So now I'm Scheduled to have the surgery in March 10th 2015, but thankfully due to having a fever that had alerted me to be rushed to the hospital, showed that I had a very bad infection and became septic. If they had perform the surgery with that type of infection, the minute that they opened me up it would have been over because the infection would have spread everywhere immediately and there would have been no saving me.

So now the surgery got postponed another month and finally on April 10th 2015 was that day that it was finally gonna go down. They were gonna remove a tumor that was destroying my body from the Inside and crushing my all organs and intestines.

Thankfully I was able to survive a very painful 6 hour surgery, but in that process I had lost a kidney because the tumor had wrapped itself around the left kidney that basically made it impossible to save. Also in that process the tumor had also wrapped itself around my aortic vein, which is the main blood supply to the heart and the whole body. Well because of that they had to cut and replace 6 inches with a special graft that is allowing the blood to still pass and because of that graft, it is basically the only thing that is keeping me alive because of blood flow.

After spending months In the hospital due to complications from the last surgery as well, everything seemed to be going ok until it was told to me that my remaining kidney is failing. So now it's a rush to hurry and get me on the
Transplant list because I need a new kidney and they are trying to prevent dialysis from happening.

With so many issues already and so many medical Bills piling up and other Bills and cost of living expenses adding up it has become a little rough to keep going, but I try.

Now with a surgey for a kidney coming up whenever a donor is available I'm going to need some help with that because of the immune Suppressant medications that you have to take the rest of your life and the intense physical therapy that I'm doing to help me to walk again, my dream would be able to walk my son to school and I haven't been able to do that. But now with therapy there is a possible chance that may happen when they start school again.

I feel embarrassed asking for help, because I try to take care of everything myself but there comes a time that sometimes we have to ask for help and this is the one time I'm having to ask for help.

Appreciate, greatly if you are able to support me and help me out with anything possible, no donation is to small and if you're unable to support financially because I know how hard it is to even let go of a penny when you are in tough situations, then please do me the favor and please share this story around.

Thanks!
