Help Alex's Independence While Battling Cancer.
On behalf of Alex Schoenthal, L.F. Jennings is reaching out for support in helping one of our team members in a time of need. Alex had worked as one of our superintendents for over seven years. For roughly three of those years, he has been battling prostate cancer which has now metastasized into bone cancer. Most recently Alex has had back surgery to remove tumors on his spine. Since late February he has been completely unable to walk without assistance.
Our goal is to help raise funds for a renovation of his bathroom, to make it accessible so he may be able to use it independently.
Here are a few photos of the space:
Toilet will be relocated for new shower work and an accessible toilet to be installed.
The plan is to reconfigure the shower so there is no step.
This wall will need to be bumped out, so a shower large enough to have a bench may be installed.

Funds will also be used to help Alex financially during this time. In recent months, he has been unable to work. He has to wait until June when disability insurance will be implemented, it will only pay about 60% of his salary.
Alex has to be one of the strongest in our LF Jennings family, up until this last surgery he has continued to work during all previous surgeries and treatments. He has a good soul and does not let anything get him down, he hasn’t let cancer stop him and his positive attitude.
Any amount you contribute will be most helpful and very much appreciated.
