Struggle for Survival in Gaza.

Hello,

My name is Iyad Yousef from Gaza city - Alnaser area before the war I used to work as an engineer in the elevators. I am married and have children Ibrahim and Ammar aged 8 and 13. The beginning of the war, the bombing and burning of our house, and from here began the journey of displacement and suffering. The details of what happened to us are very many and are completely similar to what happened to all the people here in Gaza and you are witnessing this suffering now. Our daily concern is to search for food and water to survive especially children. where survival has become a daily struggle. The ongoing conflict has left my children and me in dire circumstances.

Our lives have been turned upside down, and we are now facing the harsh reality of not being able to provide for our basic needs.

The war has taken a tremendous toll on us. We have lost our home, our sense of security, and our ability to sustain ourselves. Every day is a challenge, as we grapple with the fear and uncertainty that come with living in a war-torn area. My children, who should be enjoying their childhood and dreaming of a bright future, are instead haunted by the sounds of bombs and the sight of destruction.

Despite these overwhelming challenges, I am determined to provide for my children and give them a sense of normalcy and hope. However, my resources are extremely limited, and I am struggling to put food on the table, find clean water, and secure a safe shelter for us. The basic necessities of life, which many take for granted, have become luxuries that are out of our reach.
