Help Asmaa Family from Gaza to Have A Secure Life

Hello, I'm Asmaa, and I reach out to you with a heavy heart, seeking support for my family in Gaza. For the past four years, I've been studying for my PhD at UPM University in Malaysia, far from my loved ones. I had hoped to celebrate my graduation in November 2023 with my family, but the ongoing genocide in Gaza has kept me separated from them.

In Gaza, my family and everyone there face tough times every day. It's heartbreaking to lose my older brother in the brutal war; he was a pillar of support for us, leaving behind his three young children. Losing our family home, a four-story house full of memories built by my dad over many years, was destroyed by bombings. My family evacuated our home with only a small bag of clothes before it was destroyed. Additionally, our family business, a car showroom that was our main source of income, got wrecked, leaving us in debt and sadness.

My family includes my elderly parents, as well as my nieces and nephews:

Your donations are crucial for our survival in these dire circumstances, where food is both scarce and expensive. Will also help us settle our debts and evacuate Gaza, temporarily moving to Malaysia until conditions improve. The hope of reuniting with my family, even if only for a short while, gives us the strength to persevere.

However, organizing our evacuation from Gaza to Egypt comes with significant costs, ranging from €7,000 to €9,000 Euros per person, and we are a family of ten. When factoring in expenses such as airfare (approximately €10,000 Euros), accommodations, and other necessities, the total amount needed is substantial. Your support is invaluable in making this transition possible and ensuring the safety and well-being of my family.
