Help Ave Train a Celiac Service Dog

Anyone who knows me knows that I have lived with Celiac Disease for the past 12 years. Although I do my best to live a balanced and healthy life, with the new FDA standards for "gluten free," it is becoming increasingly difficult to tell if food is actually safe for me to eat or not. The FDA specifies that for a product to claim its gluten free, it must test for under 20 parts per million of gluten. But....this still makes me sick...
After years of waiting for some kind of cure, and researching gluten detection devices such as "Nima" which are expensive and don't detect all forms of gluten (such as gluten found in soy sauce) I had given up hope for a stress-free eating out experience. That is, until I stumbled upon a story of a Gluten-Detection Dog named Willow.
Unlike the FDA, Willow can smell down to 2 ppm of gluten, and alerts her owner of any cross contamination in foods, liquids, beauty products, cleaning products and much more.
After much research, I found an experienced trainer who is willing and able to work with me on raising and training my own gluten-detection dog. Buying an already trained gluten-detection dog costs anywhere from $15,000-20,000, but she is willing to guide me through the entire certificate process at a much more affordable price. My costs are coming out to over $3,500 for the 8 month training process (puppy included :) ).
I am ready to take on this challenge, but my bank account feels differently. This service dog will allow me to lead a happy, healthy, and confident gluten free life. I am asking for your help! Please help me make this dream a reality!
