Help Cyndee Beat Cancer & Help Her Family

Donation protected
Dear audience in our communities and beyond, we need your love, compassion and help. Cyndee, one of my brightest colleagues and friends, in her mid 30s, Idaho native and living in a small town named Craig in Colorado, urgently needs your help to keep her life and family going. Last week, Cyndee was diagnosed with recto-sigmoid colon cancer with a partially obstructing mass of 6cm. Cyndee lost her health insurance unexpectedly due to a divorce late last year. Although the hospital and doctors are kind and willing to cover the initial costs, the follow-up cancer treatment and recovery will be impossible for Cyndee to afford without your help. As Cyndee does not have a source of income due to illness, she would lose her house as early as next month without our support, and she has three very sons to feed and raise - one of them is just 5 years old.

We cannot control our luck, but we can control our attitude towards fortune and misfortune. Cyndee is a great example

Here is some background information:

  • Cyndee is a single mom with three sweet boys aged 16, 11 and 5.
  • She unexpectedly lost her health insurance in the later quarter last year due to divorce.
  • Cyndee is receiving cancer surgery (colon resection) in Colorado tomorrow, March 8th.
  • The hospital and doctors are willing to treat her due to the life-threatening condition even though she has no health insurance at this time.
  • Cyndee does not have another source of income at this time, and due to her severe illness, she cannot afford the follow-up cancer treatment after the surgery without insurance.
  • Without income, Cyndee is facing the risk of losing her only house as soon as next month if she cannot come up with the fund to pay for her mortgage.

As a community member in her town, Cyndee has always been an active volunteer in coaching youth athletics (Volleyball, Fastpitch Softball, Basketball). She's also been an active volunteer at her children's school. Cyndee is a natural animal lover with quite a few rescued animals living with her and her children. Before she became ill, she was always active in outdoor activities. Furthermore, she is a great graphic designer, colleague, and a great communicator. Above all, there is no greater job than a good mother like Cyndee raising three children independently.

Cyndee is among the most optimistic, kind, hardworking, brilliant and enduring persons I've met and worked with. If it weren't because of such an urgent and desperate situation due to her illness, she would've never sought help from others.

To pay for her mortgage and raise her children and the animals (goats, a dog, and more) living with them, Cyndee needs a $2.5k~$3k budget per month, which she could no longer use come up with due to her illness. Plus the follow-up cancer treatment and recovery, Cyndee needs a total of $50K from your love and care to keep her children healthy, keep her house, and keep herself alive.

Here's a breakdown of her needs:
  • Cancer treatment and health-related costs: $15K~$20K
  • Budget of raising children, school supplies, food and utilities: $10K~$12K
  • Mortgage and property tax: $20K ish

While Cyndee is going through her lifeline cancer surgery and during her early recovery phase, I will be here to answer any questions and concerns that you might have.

We thank you for your compassion, love and warm-hearted help. I appreciate your kindness and compassion. Let's pray, act and save Cyndee!
