Help Emily win her battle with melanoma

At the beginning of January 2021 I had three skin spots biopsied. Two came back as basal cell carcinoma (a non invasive skin cancer) and the third came back as melanoma stage llA skin cancer. I had the melanoma lesion (located on my back) surgically removed along with 2 lymph nodes from my armpit. Unfortunately, one of the 2 lymph nodes tested positive for melanoma, bumping me up to stage lllA. As a mother of two young children (7 yr old daughter and 3 year son), this news was incredibly upsetting and scary. All I could think about was the possibility of not making it and not being able to see my children grow up. It's been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least.
My current diagnosis is stage lllA melanoma and it's been recommended I treat my melanoma with immunotherapy. Due to the unfavorable possible long term side effect of immunotherapy and my extensive research into taking a holistic approach to healing, I've decided to work with a functional medicine doctor to treat, heal and prevent reoccurence with my melanoma. This means I will be going on a specific, healing diet, undergoing multiple tests to explore the root causes of my melanoma and receiving alternative treatments to help heal and prevent future reoccurence. I feel positive and confident that taking a holistic, alternative approach to healing my melanoma is the best approach for me. However, the tests, office visits and treatments are not something covered by insurance and are very costly. I will be starting IV vitamin C and ozone therapy treatments 3 times a week, which will cost close to $5,000 a month for the first 2 months. I do not like having to ask for help, but our current financial situation does not allot for these costs. I'm graciously asking for any financial support, no amount is too little, you may be able to provide and in return I will be forever grateful. I also hope to share my healing journey with everyone in hopes to help others out there who may be interested in taking an alternative approach to treating their cancer.
