Songwriter of the Critically Acclaimed, Grammy Award Winning song, "It's 5 O' Clock Somewhere", covered by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet in 2003 is in Critical Condition and needs our help!
Meet Don Rollins - father, friend, retired band director, producer and incredibly talented musician & songwriter. He has written thousands of songs - some of which have been covered by Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Alan Jackson, Jimmy Buffet, Lorrie Morgan and more…. Don Rollins is the co-writer (with Jim "Moose" Brown) of “It’s Five O’ Clock Somewhere”.
Don is in the fight of his life right now and needs our help!
After a fall in early 2024, Don's mobility began to deteriorate. He has been in and out of the hospital for months. In July, he finally made it back home to Beaumont and was on the road to recovery.
However, Don was rushed back to the hospital for emergency surgery. He made it through the surgery and came down with a Critical Condition of Sepsis. Don was on Life Support and given only a small chance to pull through. HE DID!
He spent 6 additional weeks in the hospital and was transferred to a Physical Rehab facility. Don is making great progress and gaining his strength back! However, due to Insurance Coverage limitations, his benefits were limited to 2 weeks. Appeals have been denied for additional physical therapy.
Don needs our help. He needs at least 2-3 additional weeks of therapy to be able to get out of bed and recover his mobility without assistance!
Please pray for healing! And please donate to help cover his medical bills, additional physical therapy and household costs while he is in this serious fight!
Thank you in advance for your generosity... It's always "Five O' Clock Somewhere".
*Debbie Glenn started this fundraiser with the blessing of Don's daughter. ALL funds will be held by GoFundMe and transferred straight to Don Rollins. The money raised will help pay for Physical Therapy, Build a wheel chair ramp at Don's House, Install an HVAC system and help provide support while he is on the road to recovery.
Again, THANK YOU in advance for your generosity, your prayer and your thoughtfulness!
