Help Fund Jackie's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Jackie Bonnell, 57 years young, was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois.  She is the Mother of 3 children (Jeremy (42), Jeanetta (39), and Jennifer (37)) and Grandmother of 5 grand children. In recent years Jackie has experienced many medical hardships.

On Thanksgiving Day of 2020 a heartbreaking diagnosis was delivered to our family by Doctors at St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford, IL. We learned the reason our Mother had been experiencing discomfort for months was because her body was fighting terminal stage 4 pancreatic cancer. After further observation by additional doctors we were informed the cancer had spread to her liver and lungs. Unfortunately, surgery is not currently an option due to the location of the main tumor growth.

After an effort at chemotherapy Jackie decided the pain this treatment caused made it not worth continuing forward with. Therefore, she has chosen to put her remaining time in God's hands. Her desire is to continue to live as normal of a life as possible and spend her remaining time on earth with family rather than in the hospital or bed.  

Our Mom, Jackie, has lived a simple life and not had opportunity to save for a scenario such as the one she finds herself in. She does not have life insurance or extra funds to cover medical necessities. The money we are able to gather from this fundraiser will help us cover: medical assistance that is not covered by medicare, monthly bills (internet, cable, phone), funeral and burial fees, and minor attorney fees.
