Ms. Glenda Kelly Trotter has been a devoted care giver for over 20 years. She is beyond grateful for the wisdom learned from the elders she feels privileged to support. Her love and dedication have received recognition by her clients and her employer, Chicago Commons.
Today, after an extremely challenging 2021, she is seeking support from her community.
2021 has been incredibly challenging for the country. And, for Ms. Trotter, it seems as though everything lined up to see just how strong she is. March 2021- she had a pre-cancerous surgery, and about 2 weeks later, her husband passed away. Her brother then lost his battle to cancer in September (2021). October 2021, she survived a bad car accident, but it brought about critical complications.
Due to developing hematoma, she was hospitalized again. Only to return to her apartment building catching fire on December 30, 2021. Since then, she has been facing homelessness and is in need of your support. Anything you can contribute will go a very long way. Not only will Ms. Glenda Kelly Trotter be able to rest and continue to heal, she will be able to re-energize and continue to provide care for seniors in need.
