Help Hellen get to the World Bench Press Championships!

Hi, my name is Hellen and I have the privilege of being selected to represent my country at the World Bench Press Championships in Drammen, Norway on the 17th May 2025. I became British Champion in my class in February this year and am so excited to be given this opportunity. I am a disabled athlete as I am autistic and have long term mental illness, ten years ago I didn't think I would still be here but I have worked really hard to get back on my feet and build up my life again. Autism brings daily challenges, but discovering the gym and lifting has changed my life. Its helped my physical and mental health so much and allowed me to achieve things I never dreamed off. I hope that competing on a world platform will inspire other neurodiverse people and those suffering with their mental ill health to know that it is possible to survive and even thrive and that powerlifting is a fabulous sport with which to do that. As an amateur athlete I have to pay for my own flights, accommodation, insurance and food. So I need help raising the funds to be able to compete for Team GB and I am so grateful for anything you can do to support me!
