❤️ Christmas Time Is Definitely Different And Painful This Year. It Doesnt Feel Like Christmas Time At All. Help If You Can And Pray Please
As My Husband Has Passed Away , We Are In Need Of Prayers And Help To Pay For His Headstone. His Headstone Will Be A Wood Cross With A Plaque On It. Somebody Will Be Making It. If You Can Help , That's Amazing And Greatly Appreciated. If You Can't , That Is Perfectly Fine , Prayers and Sharing As Well As Support Is Amazing And Greatly Appreciated! Pictures Of It Will Of Course Be Uploaded Here And The Gofundme Will Also Be Shared To Facebook And Instagram. November and December Has Been The Hardest Months We Have Had. We Also Lost 2 Other Family Members , One Of Those Being This Past Week (12/11)... Receipts For All Money Donated & Spent Will Be Kept For Proof Money Will Also Help Pay Important Past Due Bills , Necessities For My Family And I , Our Washer Has Went Out As Well As Our Vacuum , Food/Winter Clothing , School Supplies , Gas/Transportation For Appts , Etc.
This Is Also A Good Time To Raise Awareness About Covid And Double Pneumonia And Remind Anyone That Is Sick Or Feels Like They May Be Getting Sick , To Please Get Checked , Don't Put It Off And Please Quarantine Yourselves. My Husband And I Both Had It At The Same Time And It Is No Joking Matter. And I Ended Up With Bronchitis As Well. I Am Still recovering From Certain Symptoms And Side Effects From It And Some They Say Will Never Go Away. It Is Easy To Catch. My Husband May Not Be Here Anymore But He Will Never Be Forgotten And He Will Forever Be In My Heart ♥️ And The Hearts ♥️ Of Those That Cared And Loved Him. God Has Proven Alot Along This Journey In The Hospital As Well As The Journey That Began When He Took His Last Breath. We Have Had Quite A Rough Time The Last Couple Months With 4 Deaths In The Family And Things Falling Apart Such As The Vacuum And Washer And Christmas Being Right Around The Corner. We Always See Everything That Is Going Wrong But I Have Taken The Time To Reflect On Life And Realize How Blessed We Are As Well , Especially To Have 2 Beautiful Daughters And To Know And Have A Relationship With A Loving , Powerful , Healing , Forgiving God Even When We Don't Deserve It. To Those Who Have Family Around, Blood Or Not , Make Sure You Tell Them You Love Them And Care For Them , Make Amends With Any Grudges You May Have , Go See And/Or Talk To Those That Matter To You That You Haven't Seen Or Talked To In Awhile For Whatever Reason. You never Know When Your Last Breath Will Be And I Know Where I Want To Go. Leave This World With No Regrets And Nothing Undone Or Unsaid And Know Where You Are Going When You Take That Last Breath.
My husband and I tested positive for COVID around the 27th of October. My husband ended up having double pneumonia in his lungs. Due to having past health issues with Autoimmune Disorders at the ages of 7 and 29 for kawasaki disease and bechets disease and being on medications then and now for his Rheumatoid Arthritis, they have taken a toll on his body and he dont have the lung tissue to fight both. Im sorry for not giving alot of detail when writing this at first. I didnt have the time to and we needed and still need the help. After Having An ambulance to come get him, he was immediately put on life support and put into a medically induced coma. They tried everything and couldn't get his oxygen up past 75. After they could get him stable enough they flew him out. They said it would take a miracle for him to make it through and called in family before they flew him out because they said they didn't think he would make it to Bowling Green. However, God granted the miracle and he made it to Bowling Green. His oxygen was 40 when he arrived there. After arriving , they tested him for blood clots because they said it was the most common with his situation and Thank The Lord he didn't have any. They done all they could and got him stable but his oxygen still wouldn't above 75. They said if he had a fighting chance they would need to do something called a VV ECMO. It is basically a temporary lung to keep him alive until he gets to one of the places. They explained how dangerous the procedure was but also explained that if he had any chance of survival he needed that treatment. They also explained that they didn't have the means or access to do the treatment only complete the procedure and that he would need to be transported to either UK in Lexington or to Nashville, whichever one could get him in and accept him first. I made the decision to go forward with it and God brought him through the procedure. UK picked him up right after and God gave them a safe trip with no complications. He arrived and they done everything to transfer the temporary set up to start treatment immediately and he had a lung to collapse. They have give him up several times during this journey but we are not giving up on him neither is God. He is fighting hard and we are fighting with him. We need help getting through and ask for prayers from everybody who sees this. Prayers are the number one thing. We do need help financially as we do not have any income through this time.

Either way , receipts and updates will be posted to show proof of what money goes for such as Gas ⛽️ , Bills ✉️ , Medication For My 4 year old that insurance doesn't cover , Medication my insurance doesn't cover, Food Expenses (as you can see by the receipts, it is quite expensive and can't afford it) , Anything else that arises in between.
He has a failing lung and a failing kidney as well as another infection has come up. They said if he didn't turn a corner within a couple days his chances of survival were slim to none. We know there is nothing more powerful than God and that there is nothing He can't do. He works miracles every day. We ask that during this time you please say a prayer and if you can donate to help with expenses that's amazing. I will update here as we go on. As of right now, he has been on life support, ECMO and feeding tube etc since November 1st.
As of November 17th , they have been trying to wean him off of sedation. So far , it has been unsuccessful. His blood pressure bottomed out and they had to put him back under and hours later finally found a combination of medicine to bring his blood pressure back up. It took 4 total medications. They were able to later on wean him off of the medications for the blood pressure, thank God. He has had a bacterial infection and his blood cell count went into the 20 thousands but they put him on meds for it and his blood cell count came down in the 8 thousands thank God.
He is currently still very sedated. They are specific ones that want to give up on him but we are not going to give up on him. God works miracles every day and this is no exception. There is no storm bigger than the God we serve . We are holding onto all faith and hope we can. We are having a hard time financially due to my husband being the source of income. My husband and I have the strand of COVID that is the worst one that hit when it first broke out. I now have pneumonia and bronchitis in my lungs and unable to work as I am disabled and have a rare auto immune disorder and have no immune system so it is harder to overcome this or any sickness and I have blackout seizures without warning. I never know when they are gonna happen they just happen. I am on Breathing treatments and heart medication and all kinds of other medications for various things including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Spinal Stenosis. My thyroid and pituitary gland have went bad. All of this piled on top of each other has been unreal. God has carried me in this journey alot. He has reminded me that He is here and that He will never leave me. I still have a family to take care of and bills to pay and money for gas to help with getting back and forth as he is about 3 hours away from home. My 4 year old is taking it the hardest as she is a daddy's girl all the way around so she doesn't understand why it has been so long (17 days) since he's been home and why she can't talk to him or see him. It's so hard trying to keep her calm and not lie to her but she can't understand the full extent of things happening. There are bills that need paid because to them they don't really care about what's going on in your life unfortunately and help as well as gas money, food expenses, things the kids need etc. We need financial help if at all possible and if you can't donate money, please donate a prayer ! updates will be posted here as I go. Depending on how things go, we pray he is home and well, but if things are not, Christmas for the children are a concern. My husband does not have a life insurance policy for those wondering. To anybody who helps us whether it be financial, prayer or both , we are truly grateful and thank you! It truly will mean the world to my family and I and greatly appreciated! ❤️

These are options if it's just easier for you that way too you are more than . Any way is fine. Proof of what money is spent on will be provided.
Saving up for Christmas will also be started with this due to the fact we don't know how long this journey is goingto be. Any help is greatly appreciated ! No matter the amount of money and the prayers are a blessing. The goal amount changed due to raising funds also to provide for Christmas . Even though he may be home which I pray he is , we will still need help providing Christmas and paying bills etc. ❤️
