Jenson is on his way to USASA Snowboard Nationals!

Donation protected

Hi everyone! Thank you for reading this!

I'm Jenson, a 12-year-old snowboarder from Washington. I received the news yesterday that I qualified for my first USASA National Championships at Copper Mountain, Colorado! Competing at Nationals is something that I've been working toward and dreaming of for several years now!

I have to be there on April 2nd to start training, and I will compete in Slopestyle on April 6th. My Mom and Stepdad have offered to pay for half of my expenses for this experience-of-a-lifetime, and they want me to work on fundraising the rest.

Nationals is pretty expensive. I have already applied for a scholarship, and since we don't have much time to raise funds, I'm turning to this GoFundMe page to see if we can achieve the rest together!

So far, I have paid for my competition entry fee out of my own savings ($400). My Mom and Stepdad have paid for the lodging and will cover food. We are trying to save money, so I'm staying with my Aunt and Uncle for a few days (they live 2 hours away from Copper Mountain), but I need to stay closer to the mountain when training and competing.

I promise to do my best to make you all proud at Nationals! I appreciate any help you can give... even $1.00 would be awesome!

If we happen to raise more than my goal, I will donate that extra money to other local kids who are also fundraising for their trip to Nationals.

Thank you very much for helping to support my snowboarding dreams!

Respectfully,

Jenson
