Urgent: Help My Family Survive Gaza’s War"

Hello everyone, I am Khaled Asaad Talaba, a Palestinian from Gaza, reaching out to you at the darkest moment of my life. My name may be just words on a screen to you, but behind it is a young man who once had dreams—dreams that were shattered when war tore our lives apart.

I am a high school student, or at least I was, until bombs destroyed our home and left my family of five—my younger siblings, my elderly parents, and a sick relative—clinging to life amidst the rubble. Before the war, we lived a simple but stable life. I studied hard, hoping for a future, while my family worked to keep us together

But the recent conflict changed everything. An airstrike flattened our home, taking with it our belongings, our memories, and our sense of security. Now, we are homeless, moving between makeshift shelters, searching for food and clean water. Every day we wake up to the sound of explosions, wondering if we will make it to tomorrow

We have no choice but to leave Gaza and find a safe place to start over. But escape comes at a cost we can’t afford—travel permits, visas, and basic needs in a new country. That’s why I’m asking for your help. We need €15,000 to give my family a chance at life again.

Here’s how your support will be used: €8,000 for travel and visa procedures to exit Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

€5,000 for initial housing so we can find work and settle down.

€2,000 to provide food, shelter, and medical care for my sick relative and my younger siblings
