Help Laurie Stone Keene Heal from Severe Injury

On June 27, Laurie Stone Keene fell down a flight of stairs, breaking her left shoulder and tearing her tendon in the same arm and in her shoulder. Also tearing her tendon in her right shoulder. Injuring her neck, fracturing her nose, and fracturing her ribs. She is a self-employed hair stylist (so no disability insurance), and lives alone with no one to care for her. This shoulder injury is crushing to Laurie emotionally and financially. Her arm flexibility is her only way to be able to do her trade she has been doing for 27 years! Her ability to be able continue to work for her income and to keep her sole proprietor business has been lost in a split second. She is being told by her doctors that surgery cannot even be considered for many months. She can't work, drive, or even walk her dog for a long time. She is a kind, compassionate person, and although neighbors and friends have been amazing with food, walking Marley, and running errands, Laurie is faced with 6 mos to a year of being unable to work and support herself. She has worked hard building her business in California, which is such an expensive place to live and run a business, and she is terrified of losing it. She is really hoping that her clients return when she is healed. She is struggling with even asking for help. So, i put this fund up for her.
