A Family's Struggle for Safety

Our family was forced to leave our home, which was destroyed in a bombing during the ongoing conflict. With no safe place to turn to, we have been displaced multiple times, moving from one temporary refuge to another. Recently, while seeking shelter in a crowded area, tanks and military vehicles stormed in without warning. They fired live ammunition, shells, and rockets, leaving us and other unarmed civilians in a state of panic. We evacuated the premises, waving white flags, and by some miracle, survived the ordeal.

We are a family of six, including two children. Both my parents suffer from serious health conditions—my father has heart disease and diabetes, and my mother has high blood pressure—making our situation even more precarious. What was once our home is now reduced to ruins, and the thought of rebuilding our lives amidst such devastation feels overwhelming.
