Help Najlaa, Khaled & Maryam leave GAZA for medical care

I am Amanda, a Brit, who has become friends with a large family in Gaza, through assisting with urgent medical evacuations liaising with journalists. many family members are trying various ways to get to safety, and although all are urgent, this is a special case for Najla, Khaled, who needs reconstructive treatment after sustaining injuries to his head and face in a bombing, and their daughter Maryam, who needs ongoing medical treatment for seizures outside of Gaza.

‏Since October 7, we have been suffering from loss, hunger, and refuge from house to house. My entire family has been displaced. Their homes have turned into ruins before their eyes. They have become homeless in the winter. They have become sick and tired, and their children are sick, but the cold of the winter has no hospitals that can treat them due to the large number of injuries and martyrs that fill them. They were not spared from The disease became starving and there was nothing to eat. They began to eat animal fodder. Then we were displaced, and each of my sisters’ families became in a place, and at any time we might hear news that one of them was missing, and communications were often cut off and we were unable to communicate with each other due to the frequent bombing, so my sisters had to walk for miles in the war zone to catch a signal so that we could communicate with each other and be reassured.

‏I, Najla, lost my new home. I had recently lived in it and had not finished paying the house expenses. I became homeless and I have a little girl who is over 4 years old. I had given birth to her 4 years after my marriage through a IVF transplant due to difficulty in conceiving.

‏My husband was seriously injured in the war in his head, which led to a broken jaw and broken teeth. He needs treatment outside Gaza and wounds on his body, but traveling outside Gaza requires a very large amount of money that I cannot save because of the war after I lost everything I own. It requires up to around 15 thousand dollars. In order for us to leave Gaza, his treatment expenses require around 20 thousand dollars in Cairo.

‏My daughter is also sick and needs treatment and a shortage of medicine. Before the war, she was diagnosed with febrile seizures and must continue treatment for 3 years. During the war, the medicine she was taking was not available.

منذ 7 اكتوبر ونحن نعاني من الضياع والجوع واللجوء من بيت لبيت وتشريد عائلتي جميعهم وتحولت منازلهم لانقاض امام اعينهم واصبحو بلا مأوى في الشتاء واصابهم المرض والتعب واطفالهم مرضى بس برودة الشتاء ولا يوجد مستشفيات تستطيع ان تعالج لكثرة عدد الاصابات والشهداء الي تمتلئ بها ، ولم يسلمو من المرض اصبحو يتضورون جوعا ولا يوجد ما يأكلوه اصبحو يأكلو علف الحيوانات . ثم بعدها تشردنا واصبح كل عائلة من خواتي في مكان ، وفي اي وقت ممكن ان نسمع خبر فقد احد منهم وغالبا ما تنقطع الاتصالات ولا نستطيع التواصل مع بعضنا بسبب كثرة القصف ، ف كان على اخواتي السير لاميال في منطقة الحرب لالتقاط اشارة لنتواصل مع بعضنا والاطمئنان .

انا نجلاء / فقدت بيتي الجديد كنت قد سكنت به حديثا ولم اكمل تسديد مصاريف البيت واصبحت بلا مأوى ولدي طفلة صغيرة لما تتجاوز ال 4 سنين ، كنت قد انجبتها بعد 4 سنين من زواجي عن طريق عملية زراعة بسبب صعوبة في الانجاب .

اصيب زوجي في الحرب اصابة بليغة في راسه ادت الى تكسر في الفك وتكسر اسنانه وويحتاج الى علاج خارج غزة وجروح في جسمه ، لكن السفر خارج غزة يحتاج مبلغ كبير جدا لا استطيع توفيره بسبب الحرب بعدما فقدت كل ما املك .. يحتاج تقريبا مبلغ 15 الف دولار لكي نخرج من غزة ، ومصاريف علاجه تحتاج 20 الف دولار في القاهرة .

ابنتي ايضا مريضة وتحتاج علاج ونقص في الدواء شخصت قبل الحرب بمرض التشنج الحراري ويجب ان تستمر بعلاج لمدة 3 سنين ، وفي الحرب لم يتوفر الدواء الذي كانت تاخذه .
