Help Nonna get medical help

Donation protected

Hi, I’m Monica, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt appeal to
support my dear friend, Nonna, who is facing an incredibly tough
situation. Nonna has been a pillar of strength for so many around
her, but now she needs our help more than ever. She is facing a
potential breast cancer diagnosis that requires urgent surgery and possible
chemotherapy or radiation treatments.
Nonna’s journey is one that many of us can relate to. Like anyone who has faced
a health crisis, she didn’t see this coming. Here’s her story:

As if things couldn't get worse. For those of you who know about Nonna’s
brother, you may recall that he's been battling cancer for two years. It has been
a long and painful road for their family, filled with emotional and financial
strain. Nonna has been there by his side every step of the way, providing
support and care.

But recently, Nonna’s own health has become a concern. She had been feeling
off for a while and, to her dismay, discovered a lump in her breast. At first, she tried not to worry, but the fact that the lump was hard and painless alarmed
her. That was when she decided it was time to seek medical help.

Nonna went to the clinic and her doctor immediately recommended a
mammogram. The results were concerning, and her doctor advised a biopsy to
test the lump. However, there was a catch: taking a sample from the lump could
make the tumor more aggressive if it turns out to be cancer. The doctor,
concerned that it could be an early stage of breast cancer based on his physical
examination and the mammogram images, strongly suggested surgery to
remove the lump and have it tested.

Now, Nonna faces two potential outcomes. If the lump is benign, she will still
need to undergo frequent check-ups for five years to monitor her health,
starting with check-ups every three months, then every six months. But if it is
indeed cancer, as her doctor suspects, she will have to endure chemotherapy or
radiation following the surgery. Either way, the road ahead is difficult,
emotionally draining, and financially overwhelming.

Nonna urgently needs surgery to remove the tumor, followed by testing to
determine whether she has cancer. The financial burden of the surgery, along
with the potential costs of chemotherapy or radiation, is staggering. On top of
that, she will need regular check-ups and continued medical care over the next several years.

As you can imagine, this has created enormous stress for Nonna and her family,
especially given her brother’s ongoing battle with cancer. The mounting
medical expenses and the uncertainty of what lies ahead are overwhelming.
We are aiming to raise [$] to help cover the following:

1. Surgery costs: The immediate and essential surgery to remove the lump
and conduct tests.

2. Follow-up treatments: If cancer is confirmed, Nonna will need
chemotherapy or radiation therapy, both of which are costly.

3. Post-surgery care and check-ups: Regular follow-ups and screenings
every few months for the next five years.

4. Living expenses: During her treatment, Nonna may be unable to work,
so funds will help with day-to-day living costs, such as rent, utilities, and
groceries.

Any contribution will make a huge difference in supporting Nonna through this incredibly challenging time.

Nonna is a loving, caring person who has been a constant source of strength
for her family and friends. She has always been the one helping others, especially during her brother’s long battle with cancer. Now, she needs our help more than ever. Your donation will not only assist with the immediate costs of surgery but will also help her afford the medical care she will need to fight this potential diagnosis.

The funds we raise will allow Nonna to focus on her health without the overwhelming financial burden hanging over her. It will give her peace of mind
knowing that she has the support of her community as she faces this scary and
uncertain journey. With your help, Nonna can get the treatment she needs and
give herself the best chance at recovery and a cancer-free future.

We ask for your support during this critical time. Please consider making a
donation to help Nonna cover the costs of her surgery and any treatments that may
follow. Every dollar, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping her get
through this.

If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this campaign with your
friends, family, and social networks. The more people who know about Nonna’s
story, the greater the chance we have of reaching our goal and helping her get the
care she needs.

Your contribution, whether financial or through sharing this campaign, will
provide Nonna with the strength and resources she needs to fight for her health and well-being.

Thank you for taking the time to read Nonna’s story. Your generosity and
kindness mean the world to her, and any support you can provide is deeply
appreciated. With your help, we believe Nonna can overcome this challenge
and come out stronger on the other side.
We will keep you updated on her progress and let you know how your
donations are making a difference in her journey. From the bottom of our
hearts, thank you for your support.
